Club Notes 12th Oct 2015

By scoilpro Mon 12th Oct

The Under 14 Boys are our ‘Team of the Week’ as they secured first place in their Division following a win in their final game in the football league.  Well done to the players, parents, supporters and especially the management team of Killian, Ciaran and Neil.

Great result also for the Under 14 Girls in their championship game and they move on to the next stage of the competition while the Under 12 Girls won their league game.

A big win in the adult hurling league on Saturday evening at home to Clontarf as we get close to the promotion play off games.

Hard luck to the Minor Girls who lost out in a close game in the championship also on Saturday.

Next weekend sees the final of the Under 16 hurling championship and the game is set for O’Toole Park at 1.30pm on Saturday 17th.  We hope to see a big support cheering on this great group of players.

Also on Saturday we have a division 2 league game at 5pm v St Patricks in Glenaulin Park.  Then on Sunday, we welcome Ballyboughal to Clontarf Road for a Division 8 league game at 11am.  Support very welcome!

More good news after last week’s Greyhound Derby success, the 2015 Sports Capital Programme has just been announced and we’ve received an allocation towards our dressing room & gym refurbishment.  Many thanks to the team involved in the application.

Training continues every Monday and Thursday for adults and Tuesday and Wednesday for Under 8s to 12 in Clontarf Road, 7-8pm.

Club shop open on Saturday morning between 10am and 12 noon for all your GAA gear.
