Under 8s
The under 8 mentors were delighted with their teams performances on Saturday morning – see message from JP:
Absolutely stunning start by Scoil UiChonaill U8’s football Team’s season v Round Towers Lusk GAA this morning. Played Four / Won Four!!!
Fantastic display of skills/shooting/passing ability/determination on show but particularly pleased to see some of our “brand” new kids, get on score sheet!!
Some of our “seasoned” players from 2014 were different class but more pleasing was the way they all played as a Team and quite rightly should feel very proud of themselves. WELL DONE KIDS / SEE YOU TUESDAY 7PM TRAINING
Under 11 football
The under 11’s had their first football match of the season vs. Round Towers in Clondalkin. We were at near full strength and welcomed Max Cunningham to the panel in his first game for Scoil. Both sides put in excellent displays. The skills and level of play was very encouraging – long range points, goal line blocks, great saves, fantastic scores and really good passing moves. While Round Towers edged both games with some very late scores in two tight matches the mentors were very encouraged by the standard of play in both games.
Teams: Ethan Cassidy (Capt); Dan MacCathumhaoil; Donal Phelan; Zack McKeown; Conleth Thorne; Eimhin Green; Borna Kori; Sufyaan Moussa; Max Cunningham; Liam Carthy (Capt); Cathal O’Connell; Stephen Williams; Sean O’Flaherty; Thomas Phelan; Caleb McDermott; Nikhil Rai; Graham Burnett-Keoghan; Sophie Burnett-Keoghan; Rian Farrell;
Under 14 Football
A comprehensive win for the Under 14 team as they defeated St Vincents B 7-14 to 2-6 in Pairc Naomh Uinsionn on Saturday afternoon. Killian and Neil were very happy with all the players who showed some great skill and team work in this performance.
Under 16 Football
Another big win for the Under 16s as they beat Ballyboden St Endas in Clontarf on Saturday afternoon. Excellent performances throughout the team but special mention for Aaron Linnane, Odhran Lowry, Nicky Rogers Fallon and goal scorer supreme Jordan O’Reilly (4-2). Next Saturday it’s a trip to St Annes 10 to play Raheny at 3pm.
