Well done to all and enjoy the Easter break.
Under 8s
This week’s update from JP & Ronan.:
Football Blitz against Fingallians & O’Dwyers on Saturday morning in absolutely horrendous weather (wind / rain / cold)!!
8 Matches Played with 7 Wins on the Board! JP/Liam Team 1 enjoyed clean sweep with usual suspects at it again (Adam/Alex/Charlie/Martha/Nathan/Neil/Sophie/Tadhg) but special mention goes to our newest recruit Ella who put in some great tackles and passes! All the players received their Medal & Goody Bags from our generous hosts Fingallians bt we had our own secret reward from U8 management – Hope you Enjoy the Early Easter Eggs kids!
Scoil Under 8 Team 2 gave everything in very difficult conditions. Some very good team play was in evidence throughout the four games with Fionn and Alan linking up very well in midfield and supplying Liam Carr who put in a Michael Murphyesk performance with some excellent scores. Diarmuid continues to improve and got his hands on lots of ball while Conaill worked hard throughout. Luke’s kickouts always found a free player while Eabha and Caoimhe showed well for the ball. The conditions didn’t favour Raphael and Katerina but hopefully we will have some Portuguese weather for the teams next outing.
Under 10 Girls
What a week for the Under 10s with two appearances in Parnell Park. Following their performance on Tuesday at the PolskaÉire festival, the team were invited to participate in the mini games at half time in the Dublin Ladies v Tyrone game on Sunday afternoon.

Under 12 girls report
This week we travelled out to Swords to play St. Finians and it was definitely a game of two halves. No ref turned up and Caoimhe Crowe undertook the job and made a fair fist of it. In the first half the girls played their best and at half time they were one point behind Finians, Eve and Hollyhaving scored points as usual while Ella got a hard worked goal. Sadhh Murphy undoubtedly got the score of the day with a magnificent 45. We thought that with the wind behind them they would catch up in the second half but it was not to be. Finians dominated the second half scoring point after point which even the ever reliable Isabelle had no chance of reaching. There were some encouraging signs though. Kellyann has mastered the long kick out and Ella and Reailtin continue to harry the opposition at every opportunity. Ellie made some lovely catches, got winded for her troubles but bravely carried on. The twins continue to play their hearts out and will undoubtedly develop their newfound skills shortly. . Sara used her speed as usual. Siofra continues to improve every week while and Meibhin has learned to anticipate the ball well. The weather was dreadful and fair play to the girls they kept going till the end but we were all relieved when the game ended. This game gave us the opportunity to try out the younger girls because a few of the more experienced players were missing, It shows that, like the Dubs, youth and experience combined are what matter in a squad and that’s what we usually have. Happy Easter to all our girls and their players.
Under 15 Girls Scoil 1-5 St Maurs 1-2
