Two wins from two games in the league this week for the Division 4 hurlers with two solid and skillful performances. Best wishes to Michéal O’Laoire who was injured in the game last Wednesday following an excellent performance with three points from play.
The 2nd team picked up the points on Sunday afternoon having lost out in their game on Thursday evening.
Football league games this week starting tonight with a home game for the 2nd team in the league v Liffey Gaels with a 7.30pm throw in.
To coincide with the Senior Football game v Erin’s Isle on Saturday evening at 6.30pm we’re holding a BBQ. All members, families, friends and supporters are invited to drop by, watch the game and enjoy the facilities.
There are also football league games in the Club on Thursday (7.30pm) and Sunday (11am). Support very welcome for all games.
Great excitement in the Club on Saturday morning as the Under 7s got ready for their trip to Setanta for a hurling game.
Saturday also saw the final round of games in CC1 with the Under 8s and 10s playing at home with all teams showing some great hurling skills.
This was followed by the Under 10 girls who had a great game and enjoyed a win.
The Under 16s who are back in action after the exam break had a busy week with games on Tuesday in football and Saturday in hurling. A win in the first game v Clontarf was followed by a walkover in the hurling game.
