Great results for both Adult Hurling teams with wins in their respective league games. On Saturday evening it was a comprehensive win in the Division 4 game in Clontarf. Then on Sunday, the 2nd team picked up a win in a tight game away to Realt Dearg. Football league games next weekend with a home game on Saturday evening v Clontarf at 5.30pm in Division 2. Then on Sunday, the Division 8 game v Kilmacud Crokes is in Silver Park at 11am. Support very welcome for both games. Great win for the Under 16 girls in their championship game while the Under 14s and 18s are through to the knockout stages of their championships which will take place on 10/11th Oct. A walkover for the Under 16 boys and a great win for the Under 14s in their league games on Saturday afternoon. Great performances by the Under 8s in their games in the Club on Saturday morning. There was more great excitement in the Nursery as we welcomed Setanta for some hurling games. Well done to all the parents and coaches from both teams who gave all the players great encouragement. More goodie bags for the players after the games while the supporters and coaches enjoyed the refreshments in the Clubhouse.
Hard luck to the Dublin Ladies players and management on losing out in the All Ireland final on Sunday but congratulations on a great year. Lots of club support for the Dubs in Croke Park on Sunday and special mention for the Under 10s management who organised their trip so well. Training continues every Monday and Thursday for adults and Tuesday and Wednesday for Under 8s to 12 in Clontarf Road.
