Another great win for the Ladies last Wednesday to maintain their 100% record in the league this year.

Team of the week are our Under 16s girls who finished their league campaign with a great win scoring 3-18 in the game.  Next up is the exam break and then championship.

Disappointment in the intermediate hurling championship round robin game on Saturday evening as the lads lost out by the narrowest margin in a very close game.

Football championship games to look forward to this weekend and support is always welcome for fixtures. Intermediate game is on Sat 14 at 6pm while the 3rd team play on Sunday at 3pm away to Skerries Harps.  The 2nd team fixture is yet to be confirmed.

Lots of juvenile games and training at the weekend too and good performances from our teams.  The Under 11s host a blitz in the Club next Friday evening.  Training continues every Tuesday and Wednesday for our Under 8-12 teams.

Planning for our Strictly Come Dancing event is continuing with meetings in the Club every Thursday evening.  You can catch up on all the ‘Strictly’ news on our website at www.scoilgaa.com.  This is a recommended read for anyone associated with the Club. Our next announcement will be the ‘Couples & Dance Routine Reveal’ which takes place in the Clubhouse on Saturday 14 May at 7pm hosted by Adrian Kennedy.  All are welcome to join us on the evening and meet our Dancing Stars.

A very successful Quiz was organised by the Ladies and they were delighted with the packed Clubhouse on Friday night.

We were also bag packing in Supervalu, Killester on Saturday and a big thank you to everyone who supported this event.

Lots to look forward to next Saturday with a Cake Sale hosted by Gaelcholáiste Reachrann from 10am – 1pm and a BBQ following the Intermediate Championship game.
