It was a week of football league fixtures with the Ladies playing on Wednesday evening and the AFL2 and AFL7 games at the weekend. A draw was the final result in the AFL2 game away to Ballinteer on Saturday evening with great support from the Club on the sidelines.
Another busy morning in the Nursery on Saturday last with lots of new faces enjoying the new systems.
The Under 11s welcomed Westmanstown and both teams played really well with a draw the final result in this high scoring game.
Good performances from the Minor hurlers and Under 16 Girls with early starts on Sunday morning and wins in their respective games.
Adult hurling league fixtures next weekend with the Division 3 game away to Round Towers © on Sat at 5pm and the Division 9 game at 12 noon v Na Fianna in Collinstown. Support very welcome for all games.
Adult fixtures arranged for 1/2 October may be impacted by the Dublin v Mayo replay.
Great excitement and tension at the draw for All Ireland Football final tickets, allocated to the Club, last Thursday. The draw for Replay tickets will take place on Thursday 29 September at 10pm. All fully paid adult members in attendance are eligible to participate for a chance to purchase a ticket.
The Nursery are hosting a Blitz tournament as well as a Bake Sale next Saturday from 10am – 12 noon. All are welcome to drop in and enjoy the special treats.
