Senior Hurlers Begin Campaign
Our Adult Hurlers take on St. Finbarr’s in the first round of AHL2 this weekend. The game will be played at home, throw in at 10.30am.
Naoise Off to Namibia
Adult Ladies Footballer Naoise Ní Bhroin will be having a pub quiz on the 14th March in the club in aid of her trip to Namibia. The night begins at 8.00pm and is €10 per head!
For those of you who don’t know, Naoise is flying to Namibia on the 31st March and volunteering with a charitable organisation for three months. She will be working with orphans and disadvantaged children in the area teaching English and PE. O’Neills has given her a generous donation of equipment to coach Gaelic Football at the orphanages.
Naoise’s go fund me page can be found here -> http://gf.me/u/xccpvp
Support from the club would be greatly appreciated.
Child Safeguarding
A new refresher safe guarding course is required for all coaches and mentors who completed the safeguarding course level 1 in the past 3 years. It takes about 45 minutes to complete. Once complete, please notify the child protection officer by email aideenlawlor@hotmail.com for her records.
