Update
The club’s Executive Committee are wishing everyone well during these turbulent times; and want to ensure everyone that we are taking all precautions necessary during the pandemic. As such, the club itself has been closed since the GAA instructed all clubs to do so.
The club grounds have received some work over the past week. The grass on the main pitch was cut to maintain the pitch itself. The picture attached to this message showcases the hard work done. Thank you to our facilities manager Peter Morley and Vice Chairman TJ Farrelly for organising. I for one cannot wait to get back out on the pitch!
Congratulations Thomas and Emma
A huge congratulations from us all to our GPO Thomas Gleeson and his wife Emma on the birth of their son Luke. All three are doing great and we are delighted for them. We just need to get some Scoil gear for Luke and he’ll be set!
Scoil Skills Winners
Throughout the course of the month of March, our members, old and young, were sending in some of their best skills on social media. We had some super prizes on offer, with the winners receiving €50 Elverys vouchers! Our two winners were selected by GPO Thomas Gleeson and they are worthy winners.
Our March winners were Roisín Daly from the Nursery and Simon O’Broin from Under 9 boys!
The links to view last month’s winners can be found on our social media accounts.

Johnny O’Rourke RIP
The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies with the family of former Scoil man Johnny O’Rourke who passed away recently. The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the family of Johnny O Rourke, who passed away recently. Johnny played hurling and football for Scoil Ui Chonaill club for during the fifties and early sixties at under age and Senior levels .He was selected for the Dublin hurling team on a number of occasions before emigrating for work purposes. Less than two years ago Johnny was over in Dublin for a visit and he expressed a wish that he would like to meet up with lads from his playing days. A get together was organized and he was thrilled with the occasion. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
