Chairman’s Christmas Message

On behalf of the Club Executive I would like to take the opportunity to wish all Club Members and their families a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2021.

We hope that Scoil Ui Chonaill has brought some brightness to the year during the covid pandemic. Thanks to all the mentors, coaches and the Executive for all their great work during the year. I know we received many messages of thanks from parents and kids that we were able to keep going with Club activities.

We would also like to remember those club members who suffered bereavements during the year. We particularly remember Mossie O’Connell our Club Chairman who passed away unexpectedly on the 1st February 2020. ‘Bealtaine siad chuid eile i síocháin.

Hopefully in the not to distant future we will be back to normal activity within the Club.

‘Nollaig Shona a thabhairt duit agus do theaghlaigh.

T.J. Farrelly

Chairman

Scoil Uí Chonaill Business Network

Greetings all Scoil members.

I have set up a Scoil Ui Chonaill Business Network and I kindly request your participation.  The Group is open to new start-ups, sole traders, company directors, employees, employers and indeed anyone interested in assisting fellow Scoil people.  I have set up a LinkedIn group and am currently compiling a list of participants and their contact details.  You have the option of participating via LinkedIn, Whatsapp or Group email.

The Group’s aims are:

1.To provide a facility for Scoil members to promote their own businesses or employers.

2. To connect disparate Scoil members and inform them of the expertise, experiences and services being offered within the Scoil community.

3. To provide young Scoil members with access to potential employers.

4. To harness the collective wisdom and expertise within the Group for anyone’s benefit.

5. To offer commercial acumen and wider contacts to the Scoil Executive Committee.

6. To offer commercial acumen and wider contacts to O’Connells Schools.

7. To be a source of positive change and influence in the local community.

If this is something you feel you might be interested in please contract me via admin@bnoaccounting.com or 0874136895.

Thank you kindly.
