Fáilte ar ais..

Fáilte ar ais.. to all of our Scoil Hoppers Nursery, Scoil Stars, juvenile and minor players, mentors, and members. Fantastic to see so many páistí agus tuistí back out on our club pitch, reconnected with one another. We are looking forward to the return of our Senior players and members – not long now…

Great excitement on the return to training at our club. We were delighted to have Mary Egan of RTEjr, who did a tremendous job at capturing the fun and essence of our club. Thanks to the Under 8’s & Under 9’s mentors, parents, and especially the boys and girls. Think we have some budding Stars not just in GAA on the field but on the Screens too- well done to everyone in the production of the excellent RTEjr video.

Fantastic work continues at our club grounds and thanks to T.J., Peter M, Paul, Kevin, and all involved. Due to the ongoing work on the car park, please consider if you can; not bringing your car park to the club, the suggestion is to park further away, dropping older children away from the entrance to the club. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Camán @ Scoil – Where Creativity & Sport Meet

Thomas Gleeson introduces another Scoil Uí Chonaill first, with Camán @ Scoil.

Rolling out the initiative in the North East Inner City Schools and first to be treated to a day of creativity, sport, fun, fitness was St Vincent’s Girls School, North William Street, Dublin 1. What a great group of first classer’s at St Vincent’s Girls School.

The aim of the programme is for the participants to learn a new skill in a fun way, design and paint your own hurl. The children who get involved at the grassroots level have the opportunity to develop hand-eye coordination and learn hurling and camogie skills.

Well done to all involved and check out the pics! Keep you posted on this programme over the coming weeks, as we roll this initiative out throughout the inner-city schools. Up Scoll!
