Return to Play- Club Makeover

Club is undergoing a makeover! Getting ready for the return to play and a mammoth amount of work happening throughout the club to improve the grounds and facilities. Non-contact juvenile training will return on 26 April 2021. Full contact Inter County training on 19th April. No date set yet for Adult training returning. Special Thanks to Peter, Paul, Kevin , T.J. and the many others who have worked so hard to get our facilities into pristine shape ahead of the 26th April. #Up Scoil

Meet The Member Profile

Name: Name: Molly Power

Team you play on: Senior Ladies

Position on Field: Half back or sweeper

Favourite Sportsperson: Carla Rowe or Aimee Mackin are two phenomenal players to aspire to

Ladies Player Representative on the Executive Committee, dabble in a bit of coaching – really looking forward to heading down to a few of the underage girls training sessions when we’re back!

Favourite Scoil Moment: Winning the 2020 Championship with the best group of girls and coaches. Celebrations still pending!

Why Scoil Ui Chonaill? My dad (Gerry Power) played for Scoil when he was younger so it was always going to be Scoil

Any advice or ideas to players: I like to remind myself before every game ‘to play this game like it’s your last’- that mindset helps me to give it my all in a game

Thank you Molly for your contribution to the Stag’s Voice. Molly in addition is a great supporter of the Gaelic Mothers & Others Team (GAA 4 Ma’s) and has helped out at many a training session in the past. Molly gives a huge commitment to our club and thanks again.

Juvenile Training Schedule

Great excitement Juvenile Training will return to train soon! Thanks to Alan Darcy and all who compiled the Juvenile Training Schedule for Spring 2021.

Charity Relay

Senior Men’s Team did it for The Mater Foundation. Senior Men’s players took part from near and far in Charity Relay Race (virtual). All were conducted within government guidelines and it was all to raise funds for a worthy cause. Well Done and congratulations to all involved.
