Adult games
Just to confirm that we will have 3 adult football and 2 adult hurling teams taking part in leagues in 2016 along with Championship and Cup competitions. We will be submitting entries for Ladies competitions shortly. Training continues every week and for anyone who is looking to get back in action the Monday night session in Alfie Byrne Road between 7-8.30pm is a good one to catch up with players and mentors and to work on fitness / skills. Any former players are very welcome to join in too.
Juvenile training
The younger players were back in action last Saturday with the Nursery and Under 8-12 teams working out in Clontarf. There were great numbers taking part with lots of activities and drills. Special mention for the new Under 8 team.
While the weather was cold, it’s always great to have the Clubhouse so close to the training areas so the adults can pop in from a hot drink. Everyone is welcome to drop by every Saturday from 10 am.
Dates for your diary!
- The SAM Maguire along with the Ladies All Ireland Club (Donaghmoyne & Joanne Courtney) trophies will be visiting the Club on Saturday 12th March.

Unwanted Gifts Initiative
Now that all the Christmas decorations have been put away for another 10/11 months you may have discovered some gifts that you don’t need / want hiding under the tree. If that is the case we would welcome them in Scoil Uí Chonaill. The Nursery section are gathering up any unwanted Christmas gifts from Members / friends which can be dropped into the Clubhouse for use as a unique fund raising activity for their activities. All kinds of everything are welcome!
