Nursery

Our nursery has taken off since the resumption of play. Saturday mornings in the club are a fantastic sight to behold. Thomas Gleeson indicated there are more than 115 children signed up across our nursery section. This is a major testament to the extremely committed coaches, trainers, helpers, parents, guardians etc. to the success of the nursery every Saturday morning! Our inner city nursery has also taken off in the past couple of weeks, which is also great to see. The nursery have set up their own Instagram account if people could head over and give them a follow @scoilhoppers.

Adult Ladies

Huge congratulations to our Adult Ladies Footballers who were crowned champions of the Junior B Championship this month. In what has been a topsy-turvy season for all teams, yet the performances of the ladies were a shining star. They overcame St. Brendan’s in an enthralling final with a score of 1-12 to 1-10. Celebrations were restricted due to the ongoing pandemic, but I’m sure once everything is back to normal we will have a great celebration for the girls. Congrats to everyone involved!

Excape Studios

Eoghan O’Connell and the team over at Excape Studios are bringing their experience of personal training to the Scoil Uí Chonaill gym. You may notice some new signage around the club near the gym. Keep an eye on our social media over the next few days for updates!

Training

Reminder that players are required to arrive in their gear, train, then leave. Any congregating of players/mentors after training goes against all healthy and safety guidelines, so please refrain from doing this. Furthermore, please do not leave any lights on in the club grounds when you are finished training or collecting those training. It is the responsibility of everyone in the club to ensure the club grounds are fully locked and all lights switched off if you are the last person to leave.

If you have any queries regarding the training schedule, please send an email to scoil.pro.eoc@gmail.com
