Club Update
The club is back open following the Covid-19 closures. Teams are training hard, volunteers are helping out around the club and the place is abuzz with players, mentors, parents alike. As ever, we must remain compliant with the latest safety measures which have been issued by the GAA. All of the latest health guidelines with regards to Covid-19 can be found at this link: https://learning.gaa.ie/covid19
Please familiarise yourself with health guidelines before returning to play, and if you have returned, ensure you fill in the health questionnaire before each training session/match.
Senior Hurlers Return to Action
This weekend will see the Senior Hurlers returning to action in the form of the Senior A Hurling Championship. It is the first time that Scoil have had a team represented in the Senior A Championship since the 90’s, so we are all very much looking forward to the game following last year’s Senior B Championship win. The hurlers got off to a great start in AHL 2 this year with two wins before the break and will be looking to continue in that form.
Match details – Venue: O’Toole Park, Time: 6.00pm, Opponent: Craobh Chiaráin
Please note this is a ticketed event and there are limited numbers of people allowed at the game, so unless you receive a ticket in advance of the game, you will unfortunately not be able to attend.
Best of luck to everyone involved!
Temple Street Children’s Hospital Foundation
We were absolutely delighted to present Temple Street Children’s Hospital Foundation with a cheque for just over €12,000 last week. This was all made possible by everyone who donated so generously during our fundraiser last month. The important work Temple Street do for children in North Dublin cannot be overstated.
Thank you to everyone who donated to this super cause – all those kilometres in the rain paid off! Check out our social media accounts for some of the action pictures from the day.

Movie Night
The social committee have organised a very special night in the club. All that can be revealed so far is that it is a movie night and the date, so pencil in the 15th of August into your diaries. More information on this will be released nearer the time. Keep your eyes peeled!
Training
Each week the training schedule is released for teams. Teams are asked to stick rigidly to this timeline to avoid any car park congestion. Reminder that players are required to arrive in their gear, train, then leave. Any congregating of players/mentors after training goes against all healthy and safety guidelines, so please refrain from doing this.
If you have any queries regarding the training schedule, please send an email to scoil.pro.eoc@gmail.com
