A trip to Durrow, Co. Offaly to play Ballinamere Durrow was the reward for our Ladies A team winning the Dublin Junior A championship. There was great support from the Club in Durrow and thanks to Sandra for organising the supporters coach.
The team were dominant in the first half and finished 5-2 to 0-2 ahead. A good start to the 2nd half saw the Ladies add 3-1 to their score before the game was halted due to a serious injury to the Ballinamere Durrow goalkeeper. We are very proud of members Paul Keane and Alex Chapman who were on hand to care for the goalkeeper while we waited for the ambulance to arrive. We send our best wishes to Laura Hand for a speedy recovery and to the Ballinamere Durrow team.
The next round will see Scoil play Walterstown, Meath on Saturday 4 November. Scoil Abú
