Saturday 22nd February 2025 is a date that will live long in the memory of the 2014 boys team – the day they hurled on the hallowed turf of Croke Park.
There was great excitement in the week leading up to the match as the boys attended some extra training sessions to sharpen their skills ahead of the big match.
On match day, we arrived in Croke Park an hour ahead of the Dublin vs Offaly league match and then togged out in the dressing room and had a last minute team talk.
As half time in the Dublin match approached, the boys lined up in the tunnel with Cuala and entered the pitch once the half time whistle blew.
Roared on by a large Scoil support, the boys really rose to the occasion and showed some fantastic skills and battled very hard for the whole match.
When the match ended, the boys left the pitch to huge roars from very proud families and supporters and had a team photo on the side of the pitch.
It’s a day that the boys and coaches will remember for a long time and hopefully not the last time that some of the boys will play in Croke Park!

Congrats to Cillian, Conor, Diarmuid and Alex who were part of the Gaelcholáiste Reachrann Senior school team who won the Leinster Championship.
