Coaching The Coaches
Philip Kerr renowned gaelic football coach came down to the club last Saturday to do a sesssion with our coaches on coaching attacking play.
Thanks to our Under 14 boys team for attending and giving the coaches the opportunity to put Philips learning into action.

Declan O’Sullivan former Senior Manager and current Dublin Minor selector is doing a session on defensive structure on Friday 23rd February 7.30-9pm.

Around the Teams
Scoil Stars
Our Scoil Stars Social Inclusion training takes place every Saturday from 10am-11 with Jp, Tony and their team of helpers.
Under 8s
Under 8 boys and girls will be entering a 3 team league. Managing the teams will be Andrew Cowan, Ciaran O’Brien, Colin Boyle, Dave Greaney, Hugh Donovan, John Graham, John Nix, and Pat Braham. The kids are looking forward to representing the club, with a great effort and turnout in training, and skills improving week on week.
Under 16 Girls
Our U16 girls will be entering both football and camogie teams this year managed by Dave Daly, Mairead Sandford, Sinéad Mc Donnell, Aidan Curtin, Sean Leahy & Tom Murphy.
The camogie team were promoted to Div 3 for the league ahead following their league win in 2023. Best of luck to all players form the upcoming season.
Under 14 Boys
The U14 boys are a combination of boys born in 2010 and 2011. The boys have been back training for the past 3 weeks and have been playing challenge matches ahead of competitive games starting on 10th February. Some of this team have started helping at the nursery on Saturday morning and are enjoying passing on skills to the younger members. The team are managed by Brendan Allen, Tony De Burca, Patrick Healy, Shane Connolly, Aideen Lawlor & Alan Darcy.
Under 15 Girls
We will be entering an u15 girls team this year in both football and camogie. These girls have not played in their own age group for 2 years so we wish them the best of luck for the league & feile ahead. Managed by Aidan Curtin, Sean Leahy, Sinéad Mc Donnell & Jackie Geraghty.
Under 18 Lads
The lads have been back training since the start of January with good attendances.
The lads are looking forward to the season ahead with a good tight group who are well connected to the club.
Some preseason friendlies arranged, our Minors played O’Tooles in football on Sunday 28th January
winning by a point and on Friday 2nd February the lads play a hurling challenge against Whitehall (away) at 7.30pm.
Under 14 Girls
Scoil Girls u14s are looking to carry on their stong form from 2023 into 2024 in both codes. We are back training in O’Connell’s School on Tuesdays and Fridays and its great to have everyone back as we look forward to a busy year ahead. The team also went to support the Dublin ladies team in Parnell Park in their first league game. This was followed by the presentation of medals for winning the cup in November and of course a pizza party. Thanks to our senior ladies for doing the honours and presenting the medals. Looking forward fo more good days to come from the this group.
Under 15 Boys
The u15 team is a merged team between Scoil and Craobh Chiarain. Last year was our first year together and, to date, the merger has been a great success on and off the pitch . This year the lads will partake in the Feile competition in the early months of the year in both Football and Hurling, before moving into a league later in the year.
The lads are experiencing the gym this year for the first time and looking forward to building on the achievements of last year.
Under 9s Girls
The Under 9 girls are entering 2 team league, with just the one team, as there’s no 1 team league anymore. No news on which team we’re paired with yet. Niall Cafferty and Deirdre Murphy managing the team, looking forward to a fun season of go games. Currently participating in the Gormanston hurling/camogie competition.
Under 10 Boys
The under 10 boys (born in 2014) are managed by Conor O’Donovan, Cormac Moran, Ciaran O’Murchu, Will Weafer and Ross McNally. The boys play hurling and football and are looking forward to the matches starting in February. We train at 6pm Monday and Thursday and new boys are always welcome.
Under 12 Girls
The U12 girls are girls born in 2012 and 2013. The girls play both Camogie and Football and their skills are improving all the time. New girls are always welcome to our sessions on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm in club. The team are managed by Tracey Daly, Jason Ryan, Conor O’Donovan and Alan Darcy.
Under 18 Girls
Minor girls are training with the Adult B’s in preparation for the new season and hopefully seasons ahead. Their management team members are Paul Keane, Alex Chapman, Ciara Galvin, Christine Mc Donnell and Aoife Donnelly.
Ladies B Team
The ladies B team already supported by many of the Minors are delighted to be back at training and look forward to the challenges ahead. Their management team Members are Paul Keane John Farrelly Tom Murphy
Scoil Hoppers – Club
Our nursery for girls and boys aged 3-7 years takes place every Saturday from 10-11am in the club with Aimee and her team of volunteer coaches.
Scoil Hoppers – O’Connells School
Our NEIC nursery for girls and boys takes place every Saturday from 12-1pm in the fabulous all weather at O’Connells school.
Aimee and her team of volunteers could use some additional help if you could spare 60 minutes on a Saturday, please let us know.
Ladies Players “Player of the Year” Awards
Congrats to Laoise McDonagh (Ladies A) and Sarah O’Reilly (Ladies B) who were presented with their trophies in the clubhouse recently.
Scoils Got Talent
The Simon Cowell of Scoil Ui Chonaill, Ruairi Colbert is looking for some musicians to win the Dublin Scor Sinsir title on in Erins Isle on the 24th March.

Memory Lane #proudpast
A recent memory but a big occasion for the club when over 150 travelled in three buses to Scotland in October 2017 to play Glasgow Gales and Scotland GAA in challenge matches following a stop off blitz against St Pauls in Belfast.
