Teams Back in Action

online

Even though our club is sadly closed due to the Covid pandemic, a mammoth amount of planning and action happening from yoga, team quizzes, dynamic movements, fundamentals, skills/training, fitness, and more.

Sharing some highlights from the last few weeks and an ariel view of the jewel that is Scoil Uí Chonaill and let’s hope we can all get back playing and connecting back at our club when safe to do so.

The smell of the sea air and the sight of our picturesque Scoil Ui Chonaill and now the smell of fresh coffee and taste of pastries etc….

Where would you get it? Well, Kevin Byrne of Bold and Brass will be serving up coffee and mouthwatering treats, etc. at Scoil Ui Chonaill, 95 Clontarf Road from Sunday,

That’s my Sunday sorted a sea swim, down to Scoil to buy a coffee and might even treat myself to a pastry!

Wishing Kevin Byrne “Bold and Brass” every success.

Evan Casey gives a *Star* account

of his first session back to Scoil Stars

It was good. We were doing exercise. The scrunchy faces exercise was funny. I was happy to see my teammates.”

Great 1st Scoil Stars Online Session.

Raring to go…

Coaches of Scoil Stars……
JP Courtney and Tony de Búrca’s account

We had 10 happy Scoil Stars on our Zoom call and would have had more only illness got the better off a few of them but know they are raring to go for next week.

The level of interaction from kids and parents alike really helped the Hosts – So big thank you from Jp & Tony and all the coaches.

Although the session was less than 40 mins, we managed to get in some warm exercises, stress and mindfulness techniques (face crunches) and heard all about the kid’s Christmas gifts, with the pick of the bunch being Scooby-doo (Joseph’s new dog).
We heard all about the lockdown and how they are missing their Pals.

One of the final tasks today was for each child to run and grab an object.

We then asked them to use it as a Training/Exercise tool for the week ahead (e.g. balls/oranges/pillows/kettlebells/ water bottles to name but a few).

Really looking forward to seeing how they get on next Saturday.

Always important to get one of the Scoil Stars views…that honor goes to Evan Casey this week……
