    Winter Break

Our juvenile team are all on a well deserved break for a couple of weeks.

Thank you to all our players, parents and especially to all of our coaches for their work and commitment during 2022. Without all of our coaches and volunteers, we would not have teams for our children to be involved in.

I hope everyone enjoys the break and looking forward to seeing all of our teams in action in 2023.

    Upfront with Katie Hannon

RTÉ are working on an exciting new Current Affairs programme, Upfront with Katie Hannon, launching early 2023.

The format of the show is not fully decided yet, but it’s hoped to be a topical discussion show with panellists and a studio audience. We’re actively looking for people, ordinary citizens who have an interest in politics, an interest in how the world works, who are passionate and engaged about current affairs issues.

Jack would love to talk to anyone from the club who would be interested in coming in as part of the live studio audience. And just to say, talking isn’t in anyway a commitment to coming on the show, they just want to chat and tease out the areas the audience are interested in and whether the audience would be willing in principle to take part in a live studio programme.

If anyone is interested, please contact Jack Good on 0871362385 or emailed at jack.good@rte.ie

    Camogie News

2022 gave us some great highs for our Camogie players.

From our U14 camogie team who reached the division 4 championship final to a great performance at the Féile – we are very much looking forward to building on our performances for 2023 and beyond.

A huge Thank you to Dave Daly for his vision and all his hard work in building our Camogie Section to the strong position the club is in at the end of 2022. Dave has stepped down as Camogie Rep from the Executive but has laid the foundations for the future.

We are delighted that Sinéad McDonnell has taken up The Camogie Rep role and no doubt will continue to build the future of Camogie at Scoil. Sineád is no stranger to the game and we are delighted to have Sinéad on board.
