RETURN FOR CHANGE CAMPAIGN

Please see the latest big news from The Return fo Change Campaign as outlined below….

“Big News! The Return for Change campaign is coming to Clontarf and we need YOUR aluminum cans and plastic bottles for a deposit return event in just under two weeks the 18th and 19th September in aid of Clontarf Tidy Towns and Scoil Ui Chonaill and Clontarf GAA clubs. The idea is to help kickstart our behavior change by putting a value on aluminum (drinks) cans and plastic bottles which can be deposited at designated drop off at points in St Anne’s and on the promenade for recycling. The sponsors (Canada Life, Nolan’s, and Olive’s Room) will make a donation to Tidy Towns and the clubs.|”

”The aim of ‘Return for Change’, which is being run by VOICE, is to raise awareness of Ireland’s national deposit return scheme (DRS), due to be established late next year.”

”We’d be grateful if you could start separately collecting aluminum cans and plastic bottles until the weekend of the 18th and 19th September and follow @clontarftidytowns @returnforchange on Instagram for updates. You’ll be helping the environment, helping to keep our neighborhood tidy, and raising funding for community organizations that do such great work!”

It’s was a treble…

Last weekend was a big weekend for our Adult Teams – Congratulations to Scoil’s three adult football teams who were successful in their championship matches at the weekend.

Lots of super games home and away from juvenile up to senior level.

Well done to all involved.
